A night out in Corralejo, Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is famous for its brilliant surf, endless sunshine and summer feeling. Tourists from all over the world arrive every year in order to escape the bad weather at home or to celebrate an epic surf session. Several surf schools such as EasyDrop provide you with the opportunity to experience and learn the fascination surfing. But what to do after the wetsuit is washed and drying on the line and the surfboard is stored away waiting for the next surf? Corralejo offers numerous possibilities to enjoy a night out with your friends. In order to refill the energy after an exhausting surf session and to have enough drive throughout the night it is best to start with a traditional dinner at “Los Compadres”. Whether you want to eat traditional Spanish Tapas or some fresh sea-food, Los Compadres offers great value food. For those who do not want to sacrifice a nice view over the harbour but still fancy great Seafood for a reasonable price, the “Vista Lobos” is the place to be. However, when the pockets are empty and money is scare there is a nice burger place called “Las Canas”. The diverse selection of home-made burgers ensure a smile on your face because of both, a great taste and good prices. Since the chances are very high that you going to feel stuffed and lazy because you have eaten way too much, yes the portions are very big, here a place where you can relax and enjoy a great coffee. The “Buenda Onda” bar is a notorious surfer hang out place with relaxed and chilled vibes. On Saturday nights your ears can even enjoy some good live music while you are recovering from the dinner. As soon as you are ready for a short walk, you should definitely drop by at the “Banana Bar”. The bar attracts locals and tourists alike and offers a great location with its open rooftop-terrace. Not enough yet, you can watch, analyze and discuss your favorite pro surfer surfing in the newest movies streamed on several TV´s and beamer`s all over the place. The booze is very cheap and the vibe great, but ensure that you safe some energy to also visit the “Kiwi” bar/club. The prices are student friendly and the tunes are hot, guaranteeing that the dance floor won´t be empty. If you prefer live music throughout the night rather than listening to kicking tunes from the DJ, “the Rock Island Bar” provides the right environment for you. Night for night great artists will entertain you with some excellent live music. For those of you who want to be on the stage themselves, the “Flickers Bar” attracts every night karaoke fans who want to demonstrate their talent in front of their friends.  In case you are fancying a more  relaxed environment but still want to enjoy one of the best Cocktrelails in Corralejo, try a Mojito in the “Blanco Cafe”. Besides a great selection of delicious Cocktails it provides a funky and relaxed venue that makes you feel at home. On top of this, the Café offers every Friday night between 7pm and 9.30 pm a free Tapas buffet that goes perfectly with some delicious cocktails. It does not matter which of these options you try, you are going to have a great night in Corralejo. Just bear in mind, your surfboard is waiting for you tomorrow morning and wants to be taking out for some nice rides. Watch your hang over and enjoy the night in Corralejo.
